DIY Fertilizer Recipe
DIY Regenerative Compost Tea
Ingredients (5-gallon bucket):
3 cups worm castings
1 cup alfalfa pellets
½ cup kelp meal
2 tablespoons unsulfured molasses
2–4 tablespoons fish emulsion
Fill the bucket with dechlorinated water.
Best Method: Add an aquarium air stone and brew for 24–36 hours.
No air pump? Let it steep for about 24 hours, stirring several times throughout the day.
Strain if using a sprayer, then dilute about 7 parts water to 1 part tea before applying to plants or soil.
**Apply these separately to the soil:
• Rock dust (1-2 x a year)
• Bone meal (when planting)
• Coffee grounds
• Epsom salt or Cal-Mag when plants show deficiency
